Social entrepreneur and photographer, based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn
Born and raised in Italy, with an insatiable curiosity to discover the world and its cultures, Matteo has lived between São Paulo, Milan, London and New York. Determined to play an active role in society, he graduated with a Masters degree in business-impact from the Caledonian University-NY in 2019.
His passion for art finds its maximum expression with film photography. In 2017 he completed the advanced course in black and white photography and darkroom techniques at The International Center of Photography (ICP) in NYC.
Through his work, Matteo wants to document the social issues that he is experiencing while living in New York and driving his entrepreneurial businesses in developing countries.
He currently lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with his Mexican visual artist wife Fernanda Uribe.
All the photographs are taken with the Rolleiflex 2.8D or the Canon AE1.
